About Pro 4 Doors

In 1976...

William Yuss started his own company during his senior year of high school. Building what was then called B&L Door Company, borrowing a friend's truck he went to work. After about 6 months, he was able to buy that truck and within four years was able to open his first storefront.

By 1985 he was building such a reputation that he could not handle all of his customers. To keep the company rolling I took on a partner. David Anagnos was another aspiring entrepreneur who started the Windy City Door Company.

In 1983 things were going so well for David and Bill, they decided to acquire a lumber company with a good location to sell and install doors. By 1990, the company we now call Pro 4 Doors had out grown its four-vehicle operation and had to expand. Along with the acquisition of two other garage door companies, we bought more vehicles and hired even more salesmen. Today Pro 4 Doors services over one million customers which include the 3M Corporation, as well as doing Home Depot door installation. Pro 4 Doors has a growing fleet of over 12 service, sales and delivery trucks all located at our new home 740 West 138th Street in Riverdale, IL. We plan to continue our growth into the year 2000 with our new warehouse.
